Tron

now i will say that i am watching this movie a couple decades late... and i should take that into consideration, as well as you if you chose to watch this and never have seen it before..
for its time, the graphics were probably a little crazy... and if you are into computers at all.. this was an attempt at a fun approach to the nerdy world of computer programming.. i myself know nothing about programming.. and in the beginning of the movie i was a little bored.. but then the action started to pick up and the video games began...it took about halfway thru the movie for me to become interested... but once i was into it, i was hooked.. i wanted to see how they made it through or if they even would... would tron overpower the master controller??? what was great was even though it is a action/adventure movie.. the lovestory was thrown in.. i think this is a tactic to get the female viewers.. and i am a sucker everytime...
i liked the movie.. not the best movie ever but, ultimatley good.. in that cheezy way that i love so much... so if you like cheeezy movies.. and are willing to recognize that this movie was made over 20 years ago.. check this one out on dvd.. i think you will enjoy... Tron

Funny Ha Ha

this movie was nothing like what its title implies... i watched this movie purely bc a coworker told me that it was the worste movie ever...and i thought: wow thats a bold statement...and honestly i like some bad movies...so i took it home and watched it...
first off.. i had to watch the movie in two different sittings.. it was too painful to watch all the way thru.. and i think i only finished it bc cecil said i wouldnt make it thru to the end.. and i wanted to prove him wrong... now i dont want to ruin it for you, but i doubt that anyone in their right mind would EVER chose to watch this...now.. u know how sometimes a movie is REALLY bad, but then u get to the end and have some sort of closure.. and are like, "ok.. that wasnt so bad.. the end justified it..." well not here.. the end came and i was like... "WTF!!! that had no point whatsoever".... i guess thats why its called funny ha ha... Andrew Bujalski thought it would be funny to make a movie that people would watch and say, "i would rather die, then view that movie again!
so all in all... unless you like pointless horribly acted flicks.. this one is a no brainer and a definate DO NOT SEE!!!

Goblet of Fire

well i wasnt too sure that i wanted my reviews to start with this movie.. but its the last movie that i watched on the big screen... so... here it is..
this movie is by far the best of the potter movies.. but that would probably go without saying bc it was the best of the books as well.. movies 1 2 and 3 were not all that intriguing... the effects in this movie were a lil more advanced as well...and it kinda just hopped right on into the magic.. not so backstoryish...but if you read the books you will probably agree with me that they leave out some of the fun detail.. i mean obviously they have to leave out some things or the movies would be 3 days long... but a character like dobby should not be removed....if you hated the other potter movies, dont just pass this one off.. its worth the time.. maybe not for the money it costs to see it on the big screen... but when it comes to dvd, give it a chance!
